We are a community of Christ followers on mission to impact the San Joaquin Valley with the message of Christ.
Our relationship with Christ can be summarized by this scripture – “For now we are all children of God through faith in Jesus Christ, and we who have been baptized into union with Christ are enveloped by Him. We are no longer Jews or Gentiles, or slaves or free men, or even merely men or women, but we are all the same – we are Christians; we are one in Jesus Christ!” – Galatians 3:26-28 (NLT)
Our relationship with one another can be summarized by this scripture – “Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.” – Colossians 3:12-15 (NLT)
Mission Statement: We are on mission to impact the San Joaquin Valley with the message of Christ through connecting, developing and sending…
Mission Verse: “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.” – Ephesians 3:20-21

Our Heart for the Valley
I have strong ties to the Valley. I grew up in Fresno, went to Clovis West High School and received my bachelor’s degree from Fresno State University. Currently, my family (as well as my wife’s family) live in the Fresno/Clovis area. My father has led a church in the valley for over twenty years. I also worked on staff in local churches including Peoples Church and Northside Christian Church and my wife was a worship leader at Northwest Church. We know and love the Valley and are truly excited to be a part of the next fifty years as it grows.
This is why a church plant is the next step for us as a family in this location. We love the people, we love the community and we want to see God reign as this area of the world grows. Our plan is to plant a church in the Valley from the Friends denomination in the next year We will build up a new church with a desire to create a movement of God across the Valley and around the World. We will create a community that seeks to care for their local neighborhoods and organizations and that everyone has had an opportunity to experience the grace and love of Christ. We will have a safe place for children and students to grow and experience the joy of knowing God’s purpose and plan for their lives. We will attempt to show Christ in new ways in our community to be a beacon of light to those seeking something more. We will create a leadership factory building up leaders to send on mission, to start new churches and be directly involved in ministry. We will create development groups for men and women to grow in their relationship with Christ as well in their leadership in working with others. It will be a church that loves God and loves each other as it builds up people to lead for Christ in new ways.
